Big adventures, little moments and everything in between.
Join Elsie as she explores theme parks, family attractions, unusual places and adventures across the UK and beyond β with Dad behind the camera, usually trying to keep up.
From roller coasters and castles to museums, holidays and the occasional completely unexpected adventure, there’s always something new to discover.
Elsie gives you her view of it all β what she loved, what surprised her and, occasionally, what she’d rather never do again!

Elsie’s CRAZIEST Weekend Yet?! πͺ
Elsie headed to Butlin’s Minehead for a packed family weekend of rides, shows, entertainment, food, funβ¦ and apparently about 400 outfit changes. π
We tried to fit as much as possible into the weekend β but did Butlin’s live up to the hype, and more importantly, did Elsie want to come back?

MEET ELSIE
Big adventures. Small adventurer.
Elsie is the curious, thrill-seeking explorer behind Happily Ever Elsie. Give her a roller coaster, an unusual attraction or somewhere completely new to investigate and she’s usually straight in β while Dad follows behind with the camera.
Happily Ever Elsie started as a way of sharing our family adventures, but it’s become Elsie’s place to show other families what places are really like from a child’s point of view β including the brilliant bits, the unexpected bits and the bits that don’t quite go to plan.
She’s always ready for the next adventure. Dad’s usually just hoping he remembered to charge the camera.
FROM THE BLOG
The adventures don’t end when the camera stops.
Written by Dad and curated by Elsie herself, our blog takes you a little further behind the adventures. From family days out and holiday highlights to the funny moments, unexpected discoveries and things that didn’t quite go to plan.
It’s where we share a little more of the story, with Elsie’s verdict on the places we’ve visited and a few things you might find useful when planning your own adventures.
